Work on specific trouble areas and practice newly learned techniques in a non-instructed format

Program Description

Open Mat is free time on the mat to work on whatever you’d like, gi or no-gi. There is no instruction, however student’s are encouraged to review the week’s techniques and are free to drill and spar. A round timer will be set so student’s can use each round as they see fit. Instructors will be on the mat to answer questions and train with students.

allowing participants to:

  • Practice specific techniques
  • Spar with other practitioners
  • Work with different training partners
  • Learn from each other
  • Get a good workout
  • Build camaraderie and a sense of community
